Discovering the hidden treasure
In the north of Java we found a factory with a lot of old table legs. Thousands and thousands of them, stacked high to the ceilings.
Selecting some old table legs from the factory
Carefully sorting through them, we selected interesting looking high quality pieces, and trucked them back to our workshops in Solo.
The refurbishing process
There we cut and cleaned them, and gave them a good buff. The thinner ones we bored a 7/8” hole in to take a standard taper candle. The wider ones, we added a candle spike to, turning them into stunning antique candlesticks.
