Recycling, repurposing, green environmentally sound practice !

From the small rural villages of Java, we collect up these lovely old teak doors and windows and shutters. Then bringing them back to our workshops here in Solo, we repair and finish them. The end result is a range of very inexpensive, unique pieces that would glorify any home, café, restaurant or commercial building.

Often the doors, and most usually the windows and shutters, come in pairs. Almost every one is different in size, colour and shape, giving a wonderful variety of rainbow colours. Or you prefer natural? Can do – we strip them back, and then perhaps use our secret recipe for making an eroded, weathered look.

The furniture we create is both interesting and unique. Coffee tables, buffets and cupboards are the most popular. The frames and legs are made from matching recycled teak, again from the old village houses.
